Good concept!

This is more than the usual "light-streams". Your stream guides the viewer into the image. It also has much more dynamics than the straight streams of cars for example.

Just two tiny suggestions: The bright light at the left of the photo distracts a bit. It would be also very cool if there were more stars... though I have no idea how to realize this because they are probably too dim. But even giving the sky more room might be a little improvement.

Anyway, great photo, congrats! :)

Yeah, stars in the city dont really do that well :s Too much Light Pollution. And yea, This was when I started out, so I didnt consider things like background lights, but now I do things like move so lights are behind trees etc :D

thanks for your constructive comments!

the concept is sweet, and i think the light trail looks brill, but i think, considering how long you took on the pics, perhaps find a better location? just a suggestion, nothing wrong with this pic, but it would look way cool if u had someone doing this, running in and out of the sand dunes - say with the camera up quite high with a good view and someone doing this below....why not get a few people along to run around with you? lol that would be so fun :P

Hehe yeah, I think you are completely right :) To be fair this was 3 years ago, I didnt really have my night photo legs yet :) If I was to do it now, I would choose a far more interesting location :) Thanks for the critique! :D I completely agree!

I actually took a similar style shot some months later, that I feel is entirely more successful, in terms of the content of the surroundings (it was still a park, but the scene was more interesting) but it didnt have that up and down ness that I liked about this shot, I'll see if I can find it, maybe upload it to scraps to show ya :D

Hmm, had a look, unfortunately I never scanned it in! You'll just have to take my word for it hehe :D
